It's been kinda crazy for the last 3 weeks since I had foot surgery. Things are going well, though. Surgery went without a hitch, the swelling is going down, and the bruising is almost gone. I started going to the gym in the middle of the second week, and in the third week I felt like I could do a halfway "real" workout (i.e. get my heartrate up to 150). There is still a question of whether the surgery will really improve my situation in the long run, but that answer is still months away. Meanwhile, my right foot (the one that wasn't operated on) still hurts under the 2nd metatarsal-phalangeal joint, especially after crutching around all day Saturday. It's not excruciating, but hurts enough to put me in a slightly sour mood.
My appetite is pretty pathetic lately. I did chow a good bit on Saturday, but yesterday it was back to a pretty minimal menu - probably about 50-75% of what I would normally eat. I did sit on my butt for about 8 hours while working at the bike shop, so I guess that's to be expected.
I just discovered "Hello" this morning. I'm curious to see how well it works.
